Fallen But Stronger Now
2 January, 2004
Author: Brown Eyz
I think we take for granted everything that we have,
The tragedy our nation for held has brought us something we never had.
More love and respect for our fellow men,
The courage to proclaim that we will stand once again.
Many lives were lost out of ignorance and hate,
Too many tears have fallen to such an unforgettable fate.
So many mommies, daddies, daughters, and sons,
Were lost among the best of friends, what have we become?
Differences and beliefs tear us when we all think were better,
It’s sad that it took such a disaster to pull our Nation back together.
