Can Anybody See Me? by Emilee

Hello, I'm right here!
Can't you see what you've been missing?
Is your vision so unclear,
you cannot see through all my wishing?
I'm not invisible,
as far as I know.
If I'm wrong, let me know,
how far can I go?
I wanna scream,
shout out loud.
Hey, Look at me!
I'm not just another face in the crowd!
You see me,
but you don't.
What's so wrong with me?
I don't know!
Can't you see me,
don't you know?
How good I could be,
Give me a chance to show!
Give me my chance to shine,
It’s my turn now!
I’ve waited enough time,
CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW!?
So, don’t just pass me by,
Without a second glance.
I’ll try to catch your eye,
Maybe do a little dance.
Can anybody see me,
I’ve always been right here!
You want me to be more than me,
I thought it would be different this year.
I always feel,
Like I’m hanging on the edge.
Like I’m never real,
Dangling from a thread,
Open your eyes,
See what I am.
Maybe you’ll realize,
That, yes, I can.
Don’t you know who I am?
How much I could be?
I’ll ask this question again…

Emilee, this is outstanding
if you were in a crowded mall and it happened to be on a day i chose not to wear my contacts or eye wear...to me you would become amother faceless person in the crowd...but girl i can hear you ..LOUD AND CLEAR...this was great..i can see you now ...keep creating and sharing, you express life so well.....
