Together

Track 8 plays as i turn up the volume
drowning out all reality, to be caught
up in you
Everyone sits around us,
but we are the only two here
you sit in front of me, and i sit
behind you
everyday the same thing happens,
everyday the pattern turns over
We sit in silence together,
your reflection keeps me alive,
your smile keeps me preoccupied
words aren't needed when your
eyes say everything
If the sun doesn't shine tomorrow
everything will be alright
i'll have the outline of your face
engraved in my dreams tonight
It's the coldest of mornings,
i can see you breathing
my hands are freezing,
but your glance sends a charge
up my spine
waking up my senses and
warming my insides
You're a few doors down,
and i'd like to think when we're
waiting for anything and everything
that you're watching this way
while i'm secretly glancing in your
direction
My heart is beating harder,
faster, quicker, better
than ever
as you throw me that grin
and i catch it with an open
soul
I'll turn down track 9 while i
wait to see if you're going to speak,
with your headphones off
we'll meet glances, turn to our window,
and drown out the world around us again
