The Song
7 October, 2004
Author: Moonstarshine
"I hope you dance".....
the song he picked
from him..for me..
it gave me strength
in times of trials
life's denials..
" would you dance? "
his words echoed
stirring up a (yes)
from the abyss of
my soul.
And so he held me tight
oh! it seemed so right
we broke into a
slow waltz..
on the tune of romance
my head on his shoulder
serenading our dreams
he getting lost in
the fragrance of my being.
But..today I heard
the same song
sung by Ronan Keating
my heart stopped beating
each word pierced again and again
and I crumbled to the ground
in tears of pain..
the song ends
in vain.
