Thank You, Friend
11 October, 2004
Author: ShyHeart
When the cold wind blows, and, I start to bend
Thank you friend, for helping me, stand tall, once again
Giving me back, all, I thought, that I had lost…,
Thank you friend, for standing, beside me, “in,” the storm
When, all the others said, well, you brought this all, upon yourself
Thank you friend, for being there for me, when cold winds blew
And, I felt, so, lost, thank you friend, for being there, not only for me,
But, Thank you friend for being beside me, during, the worst of the storm
“Thank You, Friend”
