The Other Half Of The Sun....
14 October, 2004
Author: Ben Franklin
As the birds fly over my head
towards the half bloked sun,
I cry to myself
'god give me strength so I can
fly away from concrete jungle',
as another drug deal goes down in broad daylight,
I cry to myself
'God give them strength
so we can fly away from concrete jungle',
as another gun shot echo's around OUR world,
I cry to myself
'God give him everything that was just taken away from him',
as I prepare to lay my head down,
I cry to myself
'God, give me wings so I can see the other half of the
sun'.
