No More

Author: Mere
I have no more rhythm,
I have no more rhyme,
I have no brain, I have no more time,
I have no more money,
I haven't a clue,
I haven't any time, to act like a shrew,
Slitting your wrist is like smoking a cig,
Addicting, realistic, but not quite so big,
Pain is fear but no one knows,
The pain and hurt, it never shows,
I could be dyslexic, I could be insane,
Tears fall from my face, just like the rain,
I haven't a clue as to what I'm to do,
My life is boring, it's in black and blue,
People are dying, the world's gone to hell,
I'm thinking it's time I come out of my shell,
I try to tell my mom that I'm sad everyday,
But it really isn't that easy to say,
I think she knows, it's starting to blend,
I hope in her heart, she knows I will mend,
Thinking of my past, and how much I've missed,
Please forgive me mother if I've made you pissed,
I hate how you see me, I hate how I am,
I hate that every door has to slam,
I've been where you've been, I've seen how you act,
I know all about you, I know every fact,
Don't try and hide it, I already know,
I think about it, and how the wind will blow,
If suicide were an option, I'd take it right now,
I'd do it immediately, but I'm not sure how,
How can you be so truthful with me,
It's as if you're blind and cannot see,
If sin is forgiven, then I hate God,
I don't want to be that, not nearly a sod,
Sex is bought, love is given,
I'm like an old car, I have been driven,
I shouldn't know this, I shouldn't know love,
It really isn't a sin when you're the one above,
So now you know how hopeless I am,
And I start to wonder, do you give a damn?
