Poetic Fears
16 October, 2004
Author: Kali
I told them I write poems
They want to hear them now
I really want to tell them
But I just don’t know how
I’m afraid of what they’d think of me
Would they still be my friends?
I don’t want to face my fear
Of the friendships coming to an end

LinzAy (64.12.116.213) -- Saturday, October 16 2004, 05:31 pm I've had plenty of friends who were into poetry and some who weren't. But it never affected our friendship in a bad way. If your friends want to hear your poetry, trust me, they won't think less of you. If anything, all you'll hear are compliments and god things. Have fun with it but also tell them this is how you express yourself and that it means a lot to you. Good poem :) |
