Friend On A Mission... by Terrie*

they say it takes a life time to find the perfect friend
and only a day to make a true friend

through out my life
I have meet many friends
that God has placed in my path

some were around
for a short length of time

I spent time holding many hands
understand I never do..
those are the friends that left a hand print on my heart

there are also those that greeted me with a new day
and traveled upon their way
even with the short time we spent
I knew they were heaven sent

there were those that thought they were better than me
that didn't matter to me
my heart still exposed what I was all about

then there are those that stayed close by
those I knew I could rely
among the few that came to be
they never judged me

this I write for a dear guy whom became a friend of mine
together we shared a bit of time
this is my gift to you Don
a token of my friendship to say
thank you for being you...

thank you for crossing my path...
I learned from this adventurous experience
so much in life with our hearts shut we miss

what you shared was a host of a spirit
whom has found both love and friendship
in giving from the heart
you are the very heart
from where friendships get their start..

Forever friends
To find a friend is a gift from God, two souls that meet and stick like glue,
A friend is always for you even if it's your turn to be blue.

Joyce & Clive, thank you both so much....
yes sometime we meet friends in places that God has special intentions for..and also special instructions for us to do and learn..and what this Gentle man did for another touched my life as well as his own..i felt so blessed when he included me in the blessing that the other person recieved...just as the both of you in different ways have added to the blessings in my own life..the best "GIFT" in "LIFE" we can give to ourselves is indeed a "FRIEND"...thank you friends....
