All Ages Young And Old
17 October, 2004
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Mountains so high they scrape the sky,
Clouds like mashed potatoes float on by,
The sun sets into a fiery sea,
Reflecting its beauty to the sky,
The sky sees its sun with glowing lavender red,
This sky we call a Shepard’s delight,
As the rain falls from the clouds up above,
The earth now fresh once again,
Trees stand tall, flowers can bloom,
All we see has life in it again,
The birds playing in the free air above,
Crickets chirping in the now wet grass,
Children splashing in the puddles outside,
Now the moon it does appear,
The man now guards us all tonight,
Its shining light will keep us right,
All these wonders are our to cherish everyday,
Look at your view,
Look around at your feet,
All we see and hear today we call Mother Nature,
The birds that sing there song,
They sing for joy so that we may listen,
Next time you’re out and about,
Take a moment to see what it’s about,
Take a moment to wonder how lucky we are,
