Missing Amy-louise
17 October, 2004
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Today when I woke the house was so bare,
Today I made tea then remembered you’re not here,
As I made our dinner and set the table for two,
I sat and cried because you are not here,
All the times we had together,
Reading your books,
Playing in the park,
All those times we just sat holding hands,
For all those time I miss saying I love you,
I love you with all that I am,
I love you up to the sky and back I’d say,
I love you round the universe and back you’d reply,
Everyday I miss you and think of you,
I see your smile; I hear your voice,
You’d say Daddy in that wanting voice,
Next year you’ll be coming here for a stay,
A two week holiday,
Then my daughter we shall have some fun,
We’ll be able to hug and talk once again,
I phone you a lot but you’re never there,
I leave you a message I hope you hear,
I write you words that you’ll understand,
You and I are bonded with the strongest of love,
So until next year I’ll remind you everyday,
I love you up to the sky and back again,
Amy-Louise I love you.
