Simply Turned Off...
20 October, 2004
Author: Ben Franklin
As I walk into church
I feel my faith fading,
It's no longer my number one craving,
Smashed windows surround me,
the colours taken over by
dust,
winter weather causing rust,
Empty seats every Sunday,
I really hope we get more then 4 people one
day,
The Vicar see's my struggle,
always tells me only god can heal my
troubles,
Well Gods not healing them right
now,
and I dont feel to scream and shout,
someones just simply put my the light
out.

Are you a minister now? WHOA! I'm just messing around my poet! Good job! So you're simply turned off eh? Your faith isn't what it used to be, your heart has lost its place eh? Nice work Ben! Smiley face, Meri |
