After I Am Gone

Now wipe away your tears away
and celebrate my life,
for peace has come to day
a respite from all strife.

I know you will feel sad
but I'll watch over you,
to help when times get bad-
I'll see you will get through.

For this is not goodbye
but only au revoir,
until the day you die
and meet me on this star.

Our spirit's will entwine
together for ever more,
for you are always mine
to walk through heavens door.

Now this is your new dawn
I'll try to ease your fears,
for though I may have gone
I'll kiss away your tears.
