A Birthday Share

Like a child I anticipate,
Like a child I can hardly wait,
Many years have passed me by,
Many times I’ve sat and cried,
I’ve loved and lost along this road,
A true love I found in you,
Our love grew into today,
Today has stayed along the way,
Many birthdays I’ve seen before,
Still I’m excited and still want for presents,
I know I’m older and should be wise,
Been through a lot and should not be here,
Seems I still have a lot to do,
Lives I’ve changed,
Given care when needed,
Many now know who is Clive,
Warm I am but I’ll tell the truth,
To help you forward is my aim in life,
I thank all my friends to many to list,
For your kind words of support,
From Dreamers list,
You know who you are,
I love you all from my heart within,
I thank you more for encouraging me,
Yes it’s my Birthday and although 43 adds up to seven,
I’m lucky to have the warmth of you all.
