Sadness overwhelms me today,
I dont know why, I have nothing to say.
When I see you in pain,
All my days just seem to rain.

The rain is caused by the tears you let flow,
And it makes me feel just that low.
It's like I can sense when you are to tired,
And you just push yourself so far your really admired.

One day you really are going to push yourself to far,
The next day you will be to weak to get into the car.
People push you they dont care,
And I am sorry your life really isnt that fair.

If you ever need me for anything Please Ask,
I dont care if it's a hard task.
I will do what I can when you need me,
Everyone just needs to give you a break and let you be.

Half the people are just to selfish to realize,
All the tears you let yourself cry.
They are really starting to get to me,
They dont care they just dont see.

They are to wrapped up in their selves,
And they dont care about you.
They take advantage of you,
They dont care what they do.

But I do care what they do,
Because what would I do without you?
I know your sick and holding on,
And I know you try to get along.

But somedays they just get to you,
And you blow up but what are you supposed to do?
You need to take that stand,
And show those people that you can.

I am your daughter and I love you so much,
And I dont want to just lose your touch.
You are a very strong person at heart,
And people just try to tear that apart.

I wrote this poem for my mom. People like to take advantage of her and it just tears me apart to see it. And I just want her to know that I am here and that I love her.
