The Candle Quivers
28 April, 2003
Author: Capricorn
Life is like a candle, that quivers in the breeze,
at times the flame is dim, which makes me ill at ease.
Sometimes the light just glows, illuminating life,
to fill my heart with peace, a respite from my strife.
Why does the candle waver, then to splutter out,
and plunge me into darkness, filling me with doubt?
Fears can dwindle with the shadows, and I'm blessed
when brightness shines, to fill my life with zest.
As life gallops by, the candle burns out quicker.
Let it radiate, before life's final flicker.

Roy (152.163.188.228) -- Thursday, May 1 2003, 01:20 am yea,you are a fine artist of painting words accross the walls of my refections. grab this life with this gift that is in your heart that it can render. then for Roy get a grip on reality and some sanity! If the sky opens with vanity of a connection with trinity well, I guess then is it questionable about my sanity? Go for one more poem on the road of tranquility and who's cooking dinner tonight---I am HUNGRY |
