A Phone Call
26 October, 2004
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Today we spoke for the longest time,
My eyes shed tears to feel your joy,
You’re doing well in English and Math,
But you said it’s funny your in school dad,
You ask for my e-mail to write me a letter,
Oh can you send me Gel pens you asked so quick,
I’m doing well; please don’t worry,
How are you daddy?
I’m just fine but I miss your hugs
I’m just fine you’re always in my heart,
I have a dog but the cats are gone,
We might be moving,
When are you coming to visit,.
I hope soon in a year or two,
Send me a letter a picture too,
I’ll call you again now your number I have,
Remember these words every night,
I love you up to the sky and back,
I hold you in a hug on my heart,
I think about you everyday,
I wrote you a poem that’s on it’s way,
I love you Amy-Louise in a daddy’s way,
Keep safe do as your mum says,
It wont be long when were together again.
