Certain Outlooks Change

I've broken my fingernails in this fight
I've tampered with my knowings of wrong and right
I've pulled out half my hair as I screamed
And I've lived my nightmares instead of my dreams
I've cried a thousand tears that will never dry
I've done thing I shouldn't have knowing why
How does life treat you
And how well do you handle the fight?
...
I've repaired my mouth-it smiles again
I've embraced the future and forgot about what happened then
I don't want to fight life anymore, I'll welcome the struggle
Endure as many let downs and as much pain as I can juggle
I look down the path not chosen by many and smile
Looking forward to the changes within the miles
Life has treated me as it always will
But it's been better now that I accept it
-Now that i have a different outlook on it
