Have you ever felt so depressed
When you don’t want to get out of bed and get dressed?
When all you can do is sit and cry
And look at the sky and wonder why
When all you hear is insults and screaming
And you want to believe that you were dreaming
You call your friends to tell them what happened
Its nothing new to them
Your on the edge of breaking down
And they know something is wrong
You tell them you don’t want to live anymore
and then they ask you why
but when you try to tell them all you do is cry
they try to help you through it
they say they really care
and that makes you want to share
the secrets of the earlier years
but the memories bring tears
and when you go back home at night
your surrounded by your fears
the fear of being screamed at
the fear of being hit
the fear of being insulted
and being told you’re a piece of shit
the fear of being pushed around
the fear of your parents hate
the fear of staying up all night
wondering your fate
the fear of wondering if you will ever succeed
the fear of wondering if they want to see you bleed
the fear of wondering if everything you do is wrong
the fear of wondering if you will live very long
the people that you care about
you don’t want to leave
and the people that you care about
you don’t want to see them grieve
so you suck it up for years
try to forget about your fears
and occupy yourself with something
to keep your mind clear
you try to be happy
you really try your best
but this question still is in my mind
have you ever felt this depressed?
