Your Eyes
29 October, 2004
Author: Shorty
You stare into my eyes as if trying to find something hidden.
"what?" you ask, your eyes anxious to see what I'll say.
"I didn't say anything" I jokingly respond
"Your eyes ask me questions"
How could he have known?
He couldn't have been so right.
questions were in my mind,
and fear for the day we fall out of love.
Never, my soul mate,
my better half.
what my eyes were asking him was
"If we break up, will we still be friends?
And how can you love Me so much?"
But when I'm with you, I feel whole,
you're my better half.
Never leave.
