In my old age my memories stand
Ready at the slightest command
To relive the stories of by-gone days;
Each detail etched in flying brain waves.
As future years diminish to zero
The sum experience is now the hero.
When to that final hour I am resigned,
I'll remember all that was
As time rewinds.

------- Author's Notes -------

I generally don't think about death except when a love one
passes.
