first appearances deceive;
look beyond the shell
peel layers away;
search deep inside the kernel
the essence is found.

Terrie* (65.148.232.19) -- Thursday, November 4 2004, 11:12 pm your words speak truth..many that have vision fail to see beyond a DISABILITY because their heart fails to see and may not have room for compassion......the vision of my heart does not see a DISIBILITY /DISABLE it see's an ABILITY/ABLE..for they go the mile to regain what they lost what many of us take for granted.. many more hearts need to see... |
barb (216.123.57.224) -- Friday, November 5 2004, 03:07 am you Terrie and Cap seem to understand that everyday things that others do is very hard for us like going to the washroom without help, doing up buttons, getting dressed. Things that take others 5 min. take us 1or2 hours and alot of energy.I'm glad someone wrote about taking things for granted.We don't see what we assume is easy, is very hard for us and poops us out.))))) Thanks for writting this. |
