Black Velvet And Diamonds 2
5 February, 2003
Author: Capricorn
Look! - the stars have kissed the sky.
Twinkling diamonds shining high.
Black velvet covers the earth below
a curtain to shade from the day's glow.
When we slumber in our dreams tonight
the moon will join this beautiful sight.
His pale beams stretch across the land
while twinkling stars all join their hands.
Such beauty causes me to sigh.
Look! - the stars have kissed the sky.
The moon's pale envy turns night to a hush
and at dawn the velvet sky will blush.
