Angst
6 November, 2004
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

Inarticulate reasoning
scarring even the most hearty souls
Ripping the scabs of self inflicted wounds

Under the black velvet thickness
of a curtain drawn around your world, you bleed
silently of the wounds no one can fully understand

Held down by the weighty darkness
Veiling the eyes from anything but the pain
you endure tragic adolecence angst

Alone you bare the backward image
staring helplessly from a shattered mirror
awaiting the end of the inevitable
