Once Morning Comes, But Not Tonight
7 November, 2004
Author: Eryemil
…And yes I know, once morning comes,
You’ll go back to him, but not tonight;
Tonight you are mine, if for a while,
Let me have your smile; Let me own your kiss,
Just let me love you until the morning comes.
Let me hold you until the sun shines, and the sky,
Purple and gold, will lead you back to his embrace,
But until then just wait, and stay,
Then you’ll have him, and you’ll be content then,
And yes I know, once morning comes,
You’ll go back to him, but not tonight,
I’ll wake up knowing you have left;
And I’ll cry then,
But not tonight…
