Dream killlers
trying to lower your self-esteem,
I absorb that negativity
to power my dream.

You say my poems have to be this way and that
way,
Im not gonna conform my friend,
Im gonna do it my way.

You say my words cant rhyme,
but If I took your advise
those words wouldnt be mine.

You say you cant get anywhere with statements,
I dont think thats true..

Dream killers like you need to be wiped out,
you have already put to many peoples lights out,

but you have your style and I have mine,
but I have a soul,
thats one thing you will never find.

About 2months ago I joined a poetry course,the end product was getting up on stage to perform your work.

this poem is about the tutor I had,
he said we couldnt do this,
or do that.

I only went to the first lesson,
I didnt go back,
no one can ever put restrictions on my writing.
so to roger.... you have not destroyed my dream,
you made me even stronger.

so to anyone who has doubts about what there writing,
please dont,
if its from your heart it should be heard.

Ben,ya was a smart lad for not goin' back.....
i can totally connect with you Ben, heck if i wrote the way someone else wanted me to...i couldn't cuz' my heart wouldn't be in it..sometimes i rhyme ..sometimes i don't..but it is still me and my heart poured out , kinda like my blood ,sweat and tears spilling over...a true poet..writes how they feel how they want..W/NO limits...same goes with an artist...a sculptor,a singer...anyone in question..we all are unique all individuals whom offer something SPECIAL...we all apply ourselves in different expressive ways..we all have our own signature...thats our thumb-print in this copy-cat life...and my friend DO NOT PUT YOURS TO AN END...i love your style...no one else has it but you...

yeah I toatlly know what you mean,this man was so pompus it was amazing.
but hey theres always people trying to stop you in your tracks.
