Please Come Home For Christmas
9 November, 2004
Author: Ben Franklin
Babies being sent off to this illegal war,
fear in their innocent eyes
not knowing whats in store.
so many being killed in the line of fire,
all because of two uncontrollable
liars.
No WMD found,
not a peep
not a sound,
we went to war on the wrong grounds.
lets get our boys back for
Christmas.

Ben F (81.100.175.39) -- Tuesday, November 9 2004, 10:38 am this was for our british black watch team, who were thrown in 1week before your elections by Mr. blair as a favour for mr.Bush. My bush says they didnt have 650 troops to send in, i doubt that your country has not got 650 troops. and as they were going off to a very dangerous part of iraq many of them went public and told us that they dont belive in this war, they dont belive blair, and they dont belive bush. and they were very angry that bush keeps using religion as a big factor, "thou shall not kill"... makes sense. thanks for your words terrie*,but this is a very touchy subject for me,jus winds me when people say they died for there country. Clive (67.42.132.212) -- Tuesday, November 9 2004, 04:18 pm It's time that countries spoke, It's time we all agree, This hopless war is not our fight, This hopless war has taken too many lives, Bush seems to have his own agenda, To go down in History as the one who lost, He lost the lives of those we hold dear, He's losing the lives of other countrys too, Start to write gather poeple together, Enough is Enough lets piece together Great poem Ben |
anonymous (194.82.83.250) -- Tuesday, November 9 2004, 05:48 pm and so do all the injured soldiers, and the families of soldiers who can do nothing but watch and pray for their sons, brothers, fathers, uncles, cousins. Some children will be hoping to find toys under their tree, others hope to find their fathers havn.t been killed. To anyone who knows someone out there, keep the hope, keep the faith. This poem sums up the pointlessness of this illegal war. |
