My Horse And I
9 November, 2004
Author: Webster
My horse and I compete with the wind;
She knows my every thought and whim.
I am but part of her soaring spirit,
Sensing the fence as soon as we near it.
Somehow I know that she'll never give up
As long as I'm riding she'll keep her head up.
A horse with courage and fire in her eye,
We're one idea moving, my horse and I.
------- Author's Notes -------
I greatly admire the bond between horse and rider. |
