Love Connection
9 November, 2004
Author: Webster
They say get it together,
Get a life, play the part,
But I can’t find the part
That will let my life start.
They say life is a puzzle,
Try to figure it out,
But something is missing,
There is someone left out.
My life is scattered in pieces,
These arms no longer connect.
With no mate for my soul,
No one to enfold,
No love of my own to protect.
I have a mind that’s gone astray,
I have a heart that’s been mislaid.
One single collection I’d rather be in.
I need someone to gather me in.

Meridian (172.142.133.183) -- Wednesday, November 10 2004, 10:23 pm Webster! You've got your poetry together! All of the poems, that you've written so far, that I've read, are incredible! The way you use your vocabulary, it's as though I can almost hear how articulate you are, if you were to read this out loud! BRILLIANT WEBSTER! Smiley face, Meri |
