I'm A Rebel
19 January, 2003
Author: Capricorn
When I was young I was quiet and good,
doing everything Mom said I should.
Then I was told how and what to think.
Now I realize that really `stinks!'
-and I'm a rebel!
I never went through the rebellious age
but now I think I have reached that stage
I have a mind of my own,and let people know
but I try to be polite in saying so.
-but I'm a rebel!
Keep lizards and snakes, makes my neighbours scared!
I don't let them loose, so why should they care?
I stand up for myself, and don't intend
to keep quiet any more, that's just pretend!
-and I'm a rebel!
Music turned up loud, often staying up late,
if I'm busy,my house might look state,
but I'm so glad my thoughts are free and alive
and I'm a rebel at !*!!*five
Yeah! I'm a rebel!

capricorn (62.31.144.1) -- Friday, January 17 2003, 06:05 pm Thanks for your comments.I think what I am trying to say is......life is too short, It's time to really be me, even if it doesn't suit people. |
martin vann (65.57.57.25) -- Friday, January 17 2003, 07:22 pm Smart move on your part. Sounds like you have served the masses long enough. Finally, you have decided to serve yourself. Be good to you, do what you want to do and what you think, you can get away with. Life must be more enjoyable, now that, you have decided to include yourself. If, you discouver some exciting things to do, share them with us, we might do them to. As Roy use to say, "Happy Trails to You" Thanks for the fresh air, I appreciate, all who dare and challenge, life's past "didctated" rules. Age does not a "bitch create" its that wrinkled up and stale sole, that makes our life hell! Good to hear you have found your sole's iron, away wrinkles, away, I'm free! Martin |
