Cast Away!
12 November, 2004
Author: Jim
Aloft the sea of misfortune
Upon the wakes of heartache
Bobbing along to the oceanic tune
Roaming endlessly beneath her gloss.
Ebbed and tattered, hollow and lost.
Yearning for safety, Cast Away!
Rendered helplessly by an anchor....
Once lost, Now found.
Cotton Candy dreams abound.
Kite or Rocket, the call with no sound
Song of redemption, aches disappear
Cast Away no more, found by her light
A mast now filled, not to fear
Morning dove echoes the song of Love and tears.
------- Author's Notes -------
This poem is dedicated to Aubrey, whom has made a dark hole light again. It's not very often you come across someone as pure and sweet as she, so i had to make it a point to shine the light back unto her. Thank you Berry! P.S> lookforhernameinthefirstletterofeachstanza. |
