Happy Christmas - Then War?
19 December, 2002
Author: Capricorn
It's Christmas time, and we're thinking of war
Is this what God sent Jesus for?
People are talking of Bio-suits
While Santa's dressed in red with black boots
I can't beleive we're talking of war
We should be thinking what Jesus came for
He was born to save the world, it's true
And we might need saving, very soon too!
For Santa can't save us, nobody can
Except for God, Father of man
I don't want war, enough problems to face
Without worrying about the whole human race
Peace on earth, Goodwill towards men
But will we soon be at war again?
Merry christmas, and Happy New year
Every one's full of christmas cheer
- Will it soon be fear?

Capricorn (62.31.144.1) -- Sunday, December 22 2002, 12:26 pm Thanks Luc. I wrote this after the government giving out warnings that during the Xmas period, weshould be careful because terrorists were known to be in the UK. Next came the report on the investigations from the U.N. It made me feel the spirit of Xmas is spoiled because of what could happen. As a christian I might not necessarily write exactly what I believe, but words that have been instilled into me as a child! Now I'm older I have my own beliefs, and much deeper thinking!! |
