Icy Dreams
19 November, 2004
Author: RubyDragon
Sunlight Shines and your eyes glitter
breaking my heart,
your my only true love
I do not wish to part,
but I know I must leave
what we've lost we cannot retrieve,
Never even imagined
that this feeling existed,
a sense of sheer torment
leaving me bitter and twisted,
to cry on a broken dream gone
and a sudden knowledge of wrong,
I now know what I am about to do
is against my true love natures soul,
will be dishonest and evil
as I listen to the bells toll,
cold is my heart caged in fire
but I must follow my dreams and my desire.

Princess Moon (64.136.48.69) -- Friday, November 19 2004, 10:16 pm Love it, Rubydragon! Absolutely whimsical and sheer bliss of love and one's dreams put together. I have to be honest, it took my mind to a beautiful scenery of this icy place. Again, absolutely whimsical, very inspiring.~PM~ |
