My Empty Nest by Capricorn

Now it's the cold light of day
And you're no longer here
It was time for you to go away
Never to be quite so near

Life and love to you I gave
You'll remember this I hope
As independent lives we crave
And without each other we cope

My nest is empty and feels so strange
Yet I know it has to be
My life I'll have to rearrange
And get used to being `free'

Please don't forget the joys we've shared
And everything I've taught
Remember I will always care
You're often in my thoughts

I will survive this changing time
Your photo's in it's frame
Although you will come home sometime
Life will never be quite the same

good writing cap,Isn't it funny when they are small we can't wait for them to grow up,when they do and it's time to let go.We find it one of the hardest things to do. I left you a message in the forum what I like about the forum is you can take your time to reply. Leaving a message in the day when you have time is nice no pressure. Keep having feelings :)
