Losing The Best
24 November, 2004
Author: Terrie*
you meant the world to me
losing you
meant losing everything
the day you entered my life
a serene feeling was present in me
the history you and I shared
before we meet
because you really cared
you took me into your arms
and kept me away from harm
my love belongs only to you
even today I can not live with out you
something so different in your heart
I know I can not have the same in life
all I can say
I wish you had never gone away
you’re the only man that I ever loved
you’re the only man that I will ever think of
if time can be erased and redone
you know in a heart beat
I'd turn the hands back on mine
where are you today?
do you still circle the heavens
making sure your children and I are well?
do you place your ear up against my heart?
when I sleep?
do you place your hands against my breast
counting my respirations?
as i breath in your love
that continues to keep me warm
do you still place your soft lips up against mine
keeping them moist?
do you still run your finger along my hair?
and bring it up to your lips
while you kiss each strand?
and rub your palm against my cheek
when I've fallen fast asleep?
my heart doesn't sound the same
you notice something different about it's beat?
believe me baby..
without you it doesn't beat the same
your name echoes deep in my heart
from time beyond
your respect was so huge
your love everlasting
your time with me was so little
I have carried your name longer
than my maiden name
yours is a name I am honred to have and carry on
truth is I'm nothing with out you..
your name holds my heart.
everything in life
continues to bring me back to you
as it circles each pulsating valve
I love you babe'
I love you...

He feels your pain in missing him, You feel his pain as he misses you too, Not a day goes by when he does not hear the beat of your heart, Not a day goes by when he talks to you loud, You hear himm all the time, just feel your heart and he's there inside, Nice Poem Terrie, |

Martin Vann (67.234.27.56) -- Friday, November 26 2004, 09:46 pm Terrie, On that day, when they laid, your love in the grave, One was gone and new world, was born. See, the grasse, as it grows, around what you, call a grave. Now, look up and see, the shushine of his love. Put not, your heart, in a tresauer chest, for your love has not gone. No way way can you find, buried in the deep sand, his love. It is always, there, look out to sea, feel his life, swept, back to you. So, take, what you shared, upon the shore of life live with his love in youe heart. Once you do, who knows, they may be room, for my heart, he knows, I love you as does. Dust to dust, that doesn't mean a thing, when a man loves as woman, as he does. Do not cry, a sea, of tears, he will always, be by you. I just ask, if you can, feel my heart, please, understand, he sent me to you. No void of heart, can nor I intend to fill, yet, I may help, you understand, the sea, as it changes times and places, but, never the heart MV |
