Starting Uni

Lots of apprehensive faces
Looking round for different places
Parents feeling quite concerned
As homeward they return
Change is not always simple
Different place, different people
Life seeming rather strange
Emotions must be rearranged
Making friends to impress
Sometimes feelings of distress
Losing home comforts is a pity
So many faces in Uni City
Leaving home to go away
Comes to everyone some day
Time goes by and life improves
You are enjoying the move
New routine becomes your life
Leaving home no longer strife
When you come home we'll be seeing
A truly independent being!
