Good-bye
24 November, 2004
Author: Andrea Valdez
Studying her aged face.
Looking into her soothing green eyes.
Lightly touching her aged face.
Desperately trying to not count down her days.
Wiping away the tears.
Begging her not to leave me.
Being careful not to show my pain.
My anguish.
Dropping to my knees.
Demanding her to come back to me.
Telling myself it wont be long until I see her again.
Kneeling by her coffin, saying a thousand prayers.
Blurry vision.
Screaming at the sky.
Fighting off anyone who touched me.
Taking deep breaths, but not being able to breathe.
Dreaming about being next to her.
