never make a promise
even when you love
or your feeling alone

never let go of the hand
of a heart
that cried before
never make a promise
they cry no more

when one has known love
so true
all to be asked
is to be loved
in the same way
by you

ask..
should I hold on
or let go
of the tears that want to flow

when a heart
starts to break
it is the only one
one has
stay to comfort
stay to dry
a fallen tear


do not hold back
a heart can not take
another day with out love..
before it fades away

let it escape
to be touched
to be free and be loved
the same way that love captured you

give in with a hug
give in with a smile
give love a chance to make a mistake

i ask...
can i be as strong and love as you?
i can never make a promise
and say that i could...
