Rollercoaster
27 November, 2004

So many people around,
Awaiting the same thrill as you,
The extreme unknown,
Drills excitement down to the bone.
They buckle you in,
To be sure you are safe,
You hold on tight,
With the tense feeling of fright.
The higher and higher you go,
The smaller the world becomes,
You're on top of the world,
As your stomache starts to swirl.
The drop is extreme,
The heighth a surprise
The angle an utter surprise
The ending is a disguise.
Now you can't go anywhere,
Except back in time
To wait in line that never ends
Beyond your control transcends.
Then you have a feeling of hope,
Just maybe you can do it right,
Now you know what's to come,
And can be completely numb.
