You're In My Heart
10 November, 2002
Author: Capricorn
Well Sheba, what can I say?
Your poor old body has passed away
But your lively spirit will always live on
Just as if you have never gone
Life goes on so they say
And tomorrow soon becomes today
I know it was time for you to depart
But you're still here Sheba, in my heart
One day another dog may come our way
But memories of you will always stay
Some memories at present I just cannot retrace
For they will send tears streaming down my face
Although when younger you caused me some strife
I'm so glad Sheba, you came into my life
You shared our lives for quite some years
Witnessing joy and sadness, laughter and tears
Your zest for life, my dear old friend
Was replaced by great courage by the end
Your passing was peaceful, you just slipped away
Now you're here in my heart - where you always will stay

Morgan (204.81.7.14) -- Friday, December 19 2003, 07:19 pm This is a very nice peom. I know exactly how you feel, I had a 4 month old puppy and she began to get sick and I took her to the vet and they told me that she only had a 50% chance of living. Let me say that that was the worst nightmare I could have . But I tried to keep her alive and and with my luck I had to put her down. She had a deisease called Parvo-virus I will always remember her and again this is such a great peom!!! |
