Memories

Author: Hellsing
Living in a darkened dream,
The life I live's not what it seems,
For though I walk through Day and night,
The creature within me is always in sight.
I'm seen in paintings of times past,
Always will these memories last,
But though they tell of lives before,
My darkened heart will bleed no more.
For too long have i lived my life,
And lived my past like a dark blade knife,
Bt now I have found eternal peace,
my undead life has found new lease.
So as I leave the past behind,
I leave the memories for all time,
And live the life I'm living here,
And never shed an aged tear.
------- Author's Notes -------
So, as i leave these darkened memories of a thousand years hence, I move on to a life within the present, in the hope that I can live for now. |
