never too late
for a lonely number
of one
to love once again...
it happened to me
how can one love, love?
when one is so afraid
to be loved
how can one be loved
when one doesn't allow
to be touched by love
how can love touch
with out a response?
how can love turn
ones heart around?
a little too late ?
never too late...
alone no more
for the last time
just as i once had been
emptiness turned to be
a lonely number for me.
until...
the Spring time
brought me love one more time...
a love to brag about
as love to cherish
a love to appreciate
a love to respect
a love to embrace..
a love i feel
deep in my heart..
even when distance and our jobs
keep us apart
love came alive to me
from a dream
when he placed his heart
against mine and we merged into one
love came to me
from a prayer
love came to be
by faith so strong
love placed itself
deep into my heart
when it whispered my name
and caught every
last lonely tear
love came to me
when someone showed me
that love can
fill up an empty soul
after turning love away
many many times before
it took the love
of a special man
to jolt this stubborn heart of mine
his love revived
this disabled heart of mine
one is a lonely number
and i finally gave it up...
i place my hands
up against your chest
to feel your heartbeat
that beats also in mine
I owe my love
to the amazing man in my life..
