Secrets
8 December, 2004
Author: Mike
Painful secrets remain untold
Until the answers I can unfold.
Stop the deception, free all the lies.
My mind works overtime behind these dark eyes.
The putrid smell of filth in the air
Rising from the world in which I am ensnared.
a tangle of darkness holding me close,
Squeezing too tightly, nevver letting go.
Unlock your heart, please tell the truth.
Make my heart soar up to the roof.
If you don't theres no telling what I'll do
So try to put yourself into my shoes.
