It's Not Okay Not At All

it's not okay
the way i feel
but I'll fake a smile today
& hope i heal
it's not okay
that the past attacks me
and you have to pay
for how worse my life used to be
it's not okay
that i throw up after i eat
to get the bad thoughts away
and then in a few hours repeat
it's not okay
that my Mom is really sick
and i hold this fear at bay
and run away from the problems real quick
it's not okay
that i just want to cry
before i hear what you have to say
because i wont live if she has to die
it's not okay
that marks scream across my arm
& how stupid i can play
to turn off your alarm
it's not okay
that i feel the way i do
and all i can do is pray
that we all make it through

Expression your pain through poetry is an excellent way of coping. Excellently written, and just remember that there is no such thing as a normal person, everyone is different and deals with things in different ways. There is nothing wrong with weird.
