Beauty Is Blind
10 December, 2004
Author: Pamela O'Brien
I do not see,
What he sees......
And although I want to believe
In this beauty that he speaks of,
When he looks me in the eye
And whispers it tenderly in my ear,
His lips brushing up against my hair
And his breath hot on the nape of my neck......
I do not see.
I do not see.

Pamela (66.225.130.57) -- Monday, December 13 2004, 03:38 pm they say that love is blind because it goes beyond our eyes and our ability to see, so perhaps you are right terrie. i entitled it beauty is blind because i think that perhaps those who are loved for that which is beyond the skin can become blind to the beauty on the surface as well........ thanks for commenting :o) |
