Better am I because of you,
Better are you because of me,
Knowing sixth sense of love
is greater love for two.
Hearing our inner joy,
is more than laughter.
Seeing our inner beauty,
is more than beauty.
Touching our caring hearts,
is more than touching.
Tasting our kisses,
is more than kissing.
Speaking our words of love,
is more than mere words.
Knowing sixth sense of love
is our magic synergy.
Better am I because of you,
Better are you because of me,
Knowing sixth sense of love
is greater love for two.

Pondering on how love is synergetic...someting greater than two to cause a sixth sense of love... something far beyond physical senses of hearing, seeing, touching, tasting or speaking. Where there is love, one plus one is more than two. Synergy! |

I like when you say, love goes beyond the physical, and the five senses. True love is more than touchy-feely, eye-contact, and smooches. Your poem title reminds me of the movie, "The Sixth Sense", starring Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment, when he didn't have to feel or see dead people to know that they were there. But like an animal, he had instincts, and that's what love is all about----instinct. Believe it or not, there are different perceptions as to how we see love. Great job JFL! Super J Freedom Long!
