So Much More
27 February, 2003
Author: Carol Z
In the beginning,
It was all childish play
Whether or not
He was interested.
It was all about
Those feelings I had.
Feeling so drowned
In the lust around me.
Then there was a girl.
I never thought
I'd encounter that.
Come to find out
it was more than childish play.
I knew he was interested.
Now, those feelings I had
Turned into painful desires.
Every moment
Every kiss or embrace
Is just so amazing.
Still, even after
All this confusion.
I'm willing to deal with it.
Because he makes me happy.
Makes me forget all sadness.
Makes me free all fear.
He amazes me everyday
With everything he does.
With the way he looked at me
Yesterday with those thankful eyes.
With that hug, I knew he wanted this
Just as much as I did.
And with that kiss....
So simple yet so sweet.
How can I listen to
those telling me to give up?
I'm ready to go.
He is so much more than waiting for.
