What, Do You Believe, About Life
18 December, 2004
Author: ShyHeart
If, you are like me, you believe, life as we live it, will go on forever
Just one thing, you need to realize, God, gave us life, upon a wooden cross
Not, the life, you and I have known, but a better life, he has a plan, I know is true
He has a better plan, than, what, we have put, ourselves through
I see it everyday, when, someone, that I love, passes, passes, by me
Where do they go, will they find a home, like the one, they gave to us
Will, there be a fire place, to keep their souls warm, will there be food
On the table and will the doors, like they provided, for us, keep, out the cold
When the banker calls, will there be enough money, to pay the bills
When the car breaks down, and air conditioner needs to be repaired
How, will we make it, in this life, we live, we are so, hard on ourselves
Then, I think about my God, on a wooden cross, no moisture, for his thirst
Yet, he, was so, full of love, he has saved, you and me, count them,
How, many times, have you knelt down upon your knees, and cried,
Please, God, I need your help, and every time, He was there for you
Be honest now, how many times, did he come through for you
Perhaps, I’m just, sharing a guilty conscious with you, then again,
it may be my Heart, so, I ask you, how many times, have you cried out for his help?
How, many Times, has he been there for you, for me, so, many times, that I can not count
Some of us swear, in times of need, and say, out loud, G’ damn, I need some help,
He has always been there, and he will always, be there, even when we cry out
His name, in vain, he will be there, our last resort, why did we not, cry his name Before.
He was always there for us, where in our own hell, were we? Remember
The loved ones, who have, passed us, by, do you ever wonder about life?
