All I Want For Christmas Is You

upon all of my Christmas's
I have always been content
giving of myself
my love well spent
the true gift of giving
a positive experience
to be a part of
bringing joy to another
warms my heart
this year I'm going to ask you
if just for one Christmas
if I can be selfish
and ask for something
really big ???
something that no other has...
and ask you to save and deliver
that precious gift
a miracle for me???
I never try to be the first
to have what others lack
nor am I one to envy what they have
i've never asked for much
this year I'm going to ask
for the biggest
and most precious gift of all
I do not expect it under the tree
I want to find it
laying right next to me
on Christmas Eve
all I ask for
is the best thing that ever was
perhaps it may be
a bit too much
but..all I want and ask for Christmas
is to share you
and your loving touch
And to wish you near me
on Christmas eve
that is all
I want for me
