Just When ...
24 December, 2004
Author: Megan
Just when you think
things are gonna be okay,
before you can blink
everything goes astray.
Just when you find comfort
in the setting sun,
the sky comes crashing down
and the beauty is undone.
Just when you fall in love
you fall right back out,
questions for the big guy above
go unanswered with the doubt.
Just when you think it's over
you wake up in the morning's clear light,
starting fresh with new feelings
maybe it it's gonna be all right.

Megan, hey there! (172.151.9.186) -- Friday, December 24 2004, 06:01 pm Hey Megan! Yeah, I feel this way sometimes. Everything is going perfect, everything is going right; sometimes it seems like you're winning, but in the end, you lose the fight. I wonder, "can things get any worse?".... Faith is all it takes Megan. I need to tell myself that. Hhahhaha...... Terrific choice words girl! Smiley face, Meridian P.S. Thank you for the lovely comment you posted on my poems; I appreciate all of the comments! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! |
